Committed to The Supply Chain

We’re proud to announce that Flood Technology Group has joined The Supply Chain Network and, at the same time, made a promise to use local and regional suppliers wherever possible when sourcing goods and services.

Simon Gilliland, Chief Executive of Flood Technology Group, said:

“We’re a relatively new but growing organisation with a manufacturing base at Snaith in East Yorkshire and our headquarters just down the road at Great Heck.
“Since launching the business in November 2023, we’ve been developing a supply chain to allow us to manufacture our flood resilience products and roll them out to customers across a number of different sectors. We’ve tried really hard to identify local and regional suppliers to work with, wherever possible. We were keen to create a listing on The Supply Chain Network platform that would allow us to collaborate with other local suppliers and service providers, but we also wanted to take this a step further by formally showing our commitment to the local economy by signing up to The Supply Chain Network Promise.
“Displaying The Supply Chain Promise branding helps to further raise awareness of the wider benefits of buying local, but it’s also great kudos for our business, sending out a powerful message to our employees, customers, suppliers and competitors.”

Using The Supply Chain Network’s Supplier Directory and Opportunities Map, businesses can promote any tenders and opportunities they have on offer to other businesses within their locality, as well as seeing those that are open to them. What’s more, by signing up to The Supply Chain Network Promise and downloading a free branding pack, they can now also proudly display their commitment to buying local and helping the region to prosper.

If your business does not yet have a listing in The Supply Chain Network’s directory, you can set one up and sign up to The Promise at the same time by visiting the website. If you already have a business listing, you can sign up to newly-launched Supply Chain Promise through the ‘edit listing’ page.
